A. Simple Present Tense Merupakan pola dalam aturan bahasa inggris untuk menyatakan sebuah kejadian yang sering dilakukan dan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sudah umum terjadi.

FUNCTION 1. Habitual action (kebiasaan) for daily activities. Firman goes to school everyday (Firman pergi ke sekolah setiap hari) 2. General truth (Kebenaran Umum) eg. Ice melts at 0o C. (Es mencair pada suhu 0o C). eg. The sun rises from east (Matahari terbit dari timur)

Contoh ; Bu Asih dan Bu Sari mengajarkan pelajaran di Ibnu Sina setiap hari. Eg. (+) Miss Asih and Miss Sari teach lesson in Ibnu Sina everyday. (-) Miss Asih and Miss Sari don’t teach lesson in Ibnu Sina everyday. (?) Do Miss Asih and Miss Sari teach lesson in Ibnu Sina Everyday? B. Simple Present tense berpola kalimat nonverbal atau Nominal Kalimat berdasakan kondisi verb-nya (kata kerjanya) dibagi menjadi 2 : 1. kalimat Verbal Kalimat yang verb berupa perbuatan 2. kalimat nonverbal atau nominal Kalimat yang kata kerjanya berupa to be dan kalimatnya ada tambahan ANA ( Adjective, Noun, Adverb.) Telling the time Aturan berbahasa Inggris umumnya mengacu ke 2 arah, Aturan British dan Aturan American. Berikut cara mengungkapkan waktu dalam aturan British. Asking the time What time is it? What is the time? Could you tell me the time please? Do you have the time? Morning – The term "morning" refers to the time when the day begins, which is any time between 12am to 12pm. Noon – When someone says "noon" it refers to 12pm, and is the start of the afternoon. Afternoon – The term "afternoon" refers to any time between 12pm to 6pm, which is literally after noon.
